The “Commands” pane

This is where you set up Wapp pro's commands to quit and hide applications.

The “Quit” command:

  • This command will appear in submenus of all applications. Selecting it will quit the appropriate application.
  • You can also quit an application without going in its submenu by holding down the Command key (that's the default key. It can be changed by clicking on the button while holding down the keys you want) while releasing the mouse as you select the application. The cursor will change into a cross to warn you that you are about to quit the application you're selecting.
  • Another way of quitting an application is to press Q when you are in Wapp pro's menu. The cursor will also change into a cross, but you no longer have to hold down Q. Selecting an application while the cursor is a cross will quit that application. Pressing Q a second time will cancel the process.

The “Hide” command :

Same behavior as “Quit”, so please read the explanation above. The cursor this time will look like , and the default key is the Option key.

NB : Please be warned that the shortcuts for the following functions can conflict with some applications own shortcuts. That's why some restrictions apply when selecting new shortcuts.

The “Quit All” command :

This command will appear at the end of Wapp pro's menu, after all the applications.
You have two choices for the behavior of this command :

    • Quit also front process : all the applications will quit except the Finder
    • Do not quit front process : all the applications, except the front process and the Finder will quit

You can choose whether you want a confirmation dialog to appear when you select that option.
